What do I do if I can't log in?

The ELD has two methods to login, first is through the onboard cellular modem inside the Garmin Fleet 790. If the tablet has a weak signal, the ELD will use the cellular modem in the transponder as an alternative. If neither the tablet or the transponder has a cellular signal, you will need to log in later in an area with better reception.

When you are able to log in, the tablet will prompt unclaimed driving records that were accumulated. Tap on the records that are associated with your driving and tap 'Claim'. Make a remark in the logbook indicating the ELD did not have network access and you were unable to log in at that location.
